Happy Holidays! I’m excited to be the new Director at the Senior Center. I come to you with over 12 years of professional experience in the field of Parks and Recreation, with a strong administrative and programming background. I have a Bachelor’s from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Resources and Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan. I look forward to meeting you around the center and at various programs. Our team is looking forward to continue developing and building upon the quality programs here at the SASC!

You may have seen me teaching a class, taking pictures, serving a meal—or carrying boxes to the shed. It is terrific that so many of you are involved in a variety of activities at the Center!
As the new Recreation and Enrichment Specialist, I appreciate all the members who have stopped by my office to talk about programs, and the staff for assisting with the implementation of new events.
Previously, I was a Health and Safety Consultant with the Michigan Department of Education. Earlier in my career, I held Athletic and Campus Recreation Director positions in Missouri and Tennessee. I have a Master’s degree in Health Education and Recreation Administration from Illinois State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock State University.
