SASC is Hiring a Part-Time Building Supervisor
Building Supervisor
Saline Area Senior Center (SASC)
Position Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate: $12-16 per hour, 8-10 hours per week
Position Overview: The Building Supervisor at Saline Area Senior Center (SASC) is responsible for overseeing the general operations of the facility and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patrons. This position requires basic computer skills for office tasks and proficiency in learning and utilizing RecDesk software for program registrations and memberships.
Responsibilities:

Supervise the evening operations of the building, including opening and closing procedures.

Coordinate and perform light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.

Assist patrons with inquiries, registrations, and memberships using RecDesk software and other office functions as needed.

Maintain equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to appropriate personnel.

Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, addressing concerns and inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.

Act as a liaison between staff, patrons, and management to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues or concerns.

Assist with program coordination and scheduling as needed.

Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to learn and utilize RecDesk software for program registrations and memberships.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform light cleaning duties.

Ability to pass a State Police records check.

Non-smoker at the worksite.
Terms of Employment: Hours primarily on Mondays and Wednesdays, approximately from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additional evenings and weekends may be required as needed for rentals or special events.
Evaluation: Performance evaluation shall be conducted at least once within the first 90 days of employment and annually thereafter.
